Holds degrees from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP), INALCO, Fudan University (Shanghai), the Faculty of Humanities of Bordeaux and a Ph.D. in political science, in addition to a specialized education in Chinese law obtained in Hong Kong in 2004. Affiliated with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, University Service Center for China Studies, between 2003 and 2006. Co-director, with Christopher Goscha (UQAM) and Claire Tran Thi Lien (Université Paris VII), of the CERI study group on contemporary Vietnam until 2007. Regular consultant for various international organizations.
