Alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure; holds a Ph.D. (1990) from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP). She is Associate Fellow at the Centre d’études des monde russe, caucasien et centre-européen of the EHESS and member of the editorial boards of the Revue d’Etudes Comparatives Est-Ouest and of Archives de sciences sociales des religions.
Member of the research group on “Identities, Power and Identifications”.
Her work focuses primarily on social and religious transformations in post-Soviet Russia.
